Which camera brands does EYEXIS work with?
It works with any IP camera that supports ONVIF and RTSP. Vendor interfaces are also used for Axis, Hikvision, Dahua, Hanwha and Vivotek. Cameras of different brands sit side by side on the same monitoring screen.
Do I need to replace my existing NVRs?
No. Hikvision and Dahua NVRs connect natively and other brands via ONVIF Profile G; channels are imported and recordings are searched and played from the NVR. Critical channels can additionally be recorded centrally.
How long are recordings kept?
Retention is set per camera; together with disk quotas and minimum free space, the archiver deletes old footage automatically. Protected ranges (e.g. an incident) are never deleted.
Can exported footage be used as evidence?
Every exported clip carries a SHA-256 digest and a server-signed stamp, and the action is written to the audit trail — who exported which camera and when is traceable.
