Do I need special cameras for plate recognition?
You need a camera that sees the plate clearly with suitable angle and lighting, plus a plate reading engine. EYEXIS combines reads with video, access control and barriers in one flow; the channel count is set by the license.
Can toll tags and cards share the same lane?
Yes. The vehicle lane combines plate, toll tag and card sources and opens the barrier for permitted vehicles.
