Frequently asked questions

Can I monitor NVRs of different brands in one application?

Yes. Hikvision and Dahua NVRs connect through their vendor interfaces and other brands via ONVIF Profile G; all channels appear on the same monitoring desk, grouped by site.

Can we connect our own software to EYEXIS?

Yes — with the REST API, real-time event stream (SSE), HMAC-signed webhooks and SDKs for JavaScript, Python, C# and PowerShell; cardholder import, door control, event subscriptions and archive clip requests are supported.

Can I connect a device that is not on the list?

If the device speaks ONVIF, RTSP, Modbus, BACnet, MQTT, SNMP, HTTP or SIA DC-09, most likely yes. We verify the model and firmware with you before installation.
